About Meld

Meld is an embedded Linux community powered by MontaVista Software, LLC, the leader in embedded Linux commercialization. Meld is open to the greater embedded Linux community and helps embedded Linux developers connect with credible and like-minded peers in order to share information and software for designing embedded Linux devices.

The Meld community provides fundamental tools in order to open channels of communication between developers in the embedded Linux community. Members of Meld connect with each other based on similar design profiles in order to share problems and solutions, and use the pool of developers to assist with design considerations.

The purpose of Meld is to:

  • Connect: Leverage the experience of other embedded Linux developers.
  • Share: Collaborate on information and ideas.
  • Design: Develop products faster with information re-use.
