The first installment of a new tutorial series demonstrating how to use MontaVista Integration Platform for Embedded Linux development using various low-cost, single board computers has been published.
In an effort to further communication with Melders everywhere a new IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel has been created on the Freenode network named #meld. To connect to the channel using your Operating System and IRC Client of choice please follow the instructions in the Help/FAQ Discussions.
MontaVista has released four new freely available embedded Linux SDKs in the Meld SDK Library, bringing the total to five. Each of these SDKs contains a complete, buildable software package, including the Linux kernel, a root filesystem, a cross-development toolchain, and most importantly the MontaVista Linux Integration Platform tools, based on (and including) BitBake.
On October 6, MontaVista held a webinar titled Techniques for Improving
