This page introduces the Meld Software Development Kit (SDK) for TI's AM1808 board, architected around the MontaVista Integration Platform (MVIP).
The SDK provides MVIP 6.1 and a ready-to-build Integration Platform project for the AM1808 board. For convenience, the SDK also contains prebuilt images: the U-Boot bootloader (u-boot.bin), Linux kernel (uImage), and root filesystem for the target device.
This SDK contains the pieces you need to compile, link, and execute this distribution for the TI AM1808 board. It comes with no warranty either implied or inferred.
Kernel: Linux 2.6.35 from linux-arm with Texas Instruments patches
Toolchain: CodeSourcery Lite ARM 2008q3, GCC 4.4.1 (not included)
Libc: glibc 2.9
Bootloader: U-Boot 2009.11 with Texas Instruments' patches
Hardware: based on LogicPD AM1808 board
Userland: based on Arago
