That's pretty cool! What does the 2.6.32 kernel offer over the stock 2.6.29? Is it worth rooting the phone? thanks

Improvements are said to include additional free RAM, improved performance and better battery life. The new Radio is also supposed to improve 3g significantly as well as use less battery. Thanks. I have been reticent to root my Nexus One out of concerns for voiding the hardware warranty from Google. (This particular phone is unlocked - I don't know whether rooting the phone voids any agreements from locked phones.) Can you tell us more about the politics of rooting phones and installing alternative software like this new kernel or the cynaogen mod? thanks
