RSEG1066 - DevRocket 6.2 Connection Error
Hi,
With the help of Target Management Tool present in DevRocket 6.2 I am unable to connect to target with my x-86 host ( RHEL 5.3 ). I am using x86-target (PXE-boot) with the use of CGE 6 Development File system with Linux x86-generic 2.6.32 as the kernel.
After right clicking the target ip and clicking the connect always I use to get the Connection error as
RSEG1066 : Failed to connect sshd on target IP:22 and when after checking the details it shows as Java.net.ConnectException:Connection refused.
I have cross-verified whether the ping is happening from Host to Target & vice-versa and there is no problem. Also, openssl packages(ssh & sshd) are present in my file system but once after checking in the target command prompt no way i could not find both the packages.
I don't know where the things gone wrong and even i googled the error but no help. More »
Connecting
HI,
I am a Windows programmer. I also develop for Windows Mobile, Android and BlackBerry. I am using an IP Camera. It has the usual cgi scripts on it which I can access to control the camera functions. What I would like to do is browse the files on the device and perhaps upload my own cgi scripts onto the device. With a mobile device such as Android (etc) I can use certain development tools such as Eclipse. What tools are there availble for a Windows Developer to access and connect to an IP camera that has embedded Linux installed?
Thanks!
bitbake recipe for Python 2.6.6
I am bit new to MVL and bitbake, somehow my python 2.6.6 recipe is compiling fine however when creating an image most of the python packages are not available. Can anyone validate the recipe file or share their own which is working fine in their env. I would appreciate your help. I am using MVL 6.0 with bitbake 1.8.18
Bitbake Debug/Release Image with different Kernel config
Hi
I'm using MVL6 and bitbake/devrocket.
I have a build image - let's call it my-image.bb and a debug image that inherits my-image.bb
It's called debug-my-image.bb
The debug image simply includes all the required tools for running gdb, ssl and some other things such as test harnesses.
In local.conf I have specified a path to a kernel config file - let's call it my_kernel_config.
However, I would like the debug build to use a different config as the debug build uses a number of kernel options that the release build doesn't.
Is it possible to specify that my-image.bb uses config a) and debug-my-image uses either a different config file (my_kernel_config_debug) OR overrides settings to enable features that are disabled in config a)

How to decrease the matchbox window manager start up time
Hi,
I have a OMAP3530 board on which our custom linux disro is working. I installed X server and matchbox into it. I just started matchbox, it is working fine but it is taking time (around 1 mins) to load. Please let me know how to reduce it.

Command-line builds using Devrocket 5.2.2
Is there a way to build projects via the unix command line outside of the Devrocket/Eclipse IDE?
We are interested in automating our project builds but since we mostly use Managed Make C/C++ projects and don't check in the generated makefiles, we would like to run the builds from outside eclipse.
I've heard tell of aptBuild for older versions of eclipse, and also headlessbuild for the newer ones but not sure which (if any) Devrocket uses.
(n.b. Sorry, but I did a search on this but all I found told me to Read The Fine Devrocket Manual and I didn't find it)
Thanks,
Ken
