Open source doesn't work like that
Hi Raghavendra,
Let's start with the obvious: I'm not aware of any AAL2 or AAL5 work in open source.
There is support for basic ATM in the Linux kernel. But as far as my limited knowledge on networking protocols goes, none of the specifics that you need is present.
The OsmocomBB project (see http://bb.osmocom.org/) is not into UMTS yet, they are still working on getting the GSM/GPRS layers completely operational.
Secondly, open source doesn't work like "send me this". Open source is about collaboration. You are just requesting things - maybe the first step to build upon what's available and return your additional efforts to the community, but you don't indicate any goals so that's hard to judge.
Like in every industry, in the open source world people have to make a living. In the case of MontaVista, we sell build environments and packages to work with open source.
In the case of the already mentioned osmocom, part of the work was funded by a company to get local GSM infrastructure for cruise ships - without having to go through very expensive contracts with regular GSM operators. They have (re-/reverse-)engineered several parts of the various network stacks to make that happen. BTW: I'm affiliated with MontaVista but not with the Osmocom projects.
I hope you succeed in what you want to accomplish.
