Beagle board crash while rebooting system load with ti-beagle prebulit binaries
kourla123 - February 22, 2011
Hi
I downlaoded ti-beagle-meldkit.tar.gz and from prebuilt directory
i took x-loader.bin.ift ,u-boot.bin,uImage and rootfs
when i reboot system the system crashes , Please see the log below.
I didnot found any binaries like aplay, mplayer integrated in rootfs as well as some QT lib and graphics intergation in SDK , are you planning to integrate ???
Just for curiosity ,what is the advantage of Montavista beagle baord distribution???( compared to angstrom, Devkit distribution)/ (like reduced boot time, less foot print , Graphics support ,dsp support etc) I found SDK is Normal and dont have any extra features.
I am not able to download complete ti-beagle-meldkit.tar.gz image (http://meld.org/sites/default/files/sdk/ti-beagle-012011/ti-beagle-meldk...), Please let me know location where i can download complete gz file.

kourla123 if you didn't
kourla123 if you didn't successfully download all the binaries, what did you boot? And did you boot on a B7, C2, or XM Beagle Board?
Also, what is the speed of your connection? I was able to download the tar.gz in 24 minutes.
kourla123: I managed to
kourla123: I managed to successfully download the tarball. If you had issues, please try again.
With respect to the segfault: It looks like the EHCI controller is incorrectly handling the suspend. We have some pending updates that better handle power management (i.e. suspend, resume) for the EHCI controller. I'm checking with our engineers now. I'll keep you posted.
ehci driver
The EHCI driver is the culprit. For now, reconfigure your kernel to exlude it and rebuild.
