Best (small mem-size) embedded mailing system

Hi All.
I have a need for adding a emailler to a ARM system running Debian. The system used to provide system and data summaries via a web portal, but because of heavy overseas hacking to this and other like systems on my clients network I have decided to decicate email as the results path.
So, I need a maier that does not per say recieves email (I don't wnat port 25 used) rather just a sender via a specific outside on-net hosted email hub.

C> Have you had any security issues with using it?
D> What security features does it have inbuilt to repell invasive hack contacts?
