MVL 5 and USB support for the OMAP-L137
Charles Miller - February 11, 2011
We are working with a custom board based on the OMAP-L137 EVM, with MVL (kernel version linux-2.6.18_pro500_rc2).
We wish to configure the kernel to allow the USB to have device (gadget) functionality. The above kernel version does not have the appropriate drivers. Is there a patch/upgrade to MVL 5 that we can obtain that will upgrade our kernel?
Many thanks,
Charles Miller

It has been a couple of years
It has been a couple of years since I touched da830/OMAP-L137, but I seem to recall the OMAP-L137 supports gadget mode. Is it not in the kernel config? Also, some of the DaVinci evaluation boards has a strap that selects between USB host and gadget mode. I can not remember if the OMAP-L137 has it or not. May want to verify.
Regards,
Steve
