TinyOS or Contiki

Which one of the mentioned OSs (TinyOS and Contiki) would you suggest and why? The OS will be used on msp430 device which needs to have IPv6 support. This will be used in sensing application - nothing spectacular... just simple sensors... I'm really not sure which one to choose, both of them seem OKish...

Not sure if there will be a lot of response from here since this it is rather Linux centic here. After a quick look, it seems the TinyOS has been around longer. Perhaps that would give them more time to build up a community and flush out bugs... just a thought.

In quickly looking at the online documentation for TinyOS and Contiki, I see there are MSP430 specific tutorials for both. Therefore, I'd say either choice is adequate. Given the $5 price of the MSP430 dev kits, you could always buy another one and try both OSes.
